WTO IP RULES AMENDED TO EASE POOR COUNTRIES’ ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE MEDICINES An amendment to the agreement on intellectual property entered into force today (23 January) securing for developing countries a legal pathway to access affordable medicines under WTO rules.
