Bern, 24.02.2017 - Gender inequality is one of the greatest obstacles to sustainable development, economic growth and poverty reduction. The dossier indicates where the main gaps in equality lie and how the challenges are being met internationally and through the work of the SDC. Great progress has been made at an official level through agreements and obligations. The challenge remains in implementing gender equality policy.
